Traffic School in Sacramento County – World Famous Comedy Traffic School

World Famous Comedy Traffic School is here to help you complete traffic school and keep those points masked on your DMV record when you receive a ticket. We are licensed in all of Sacramento County, and the whole state of California actually.

Here’s how Traffic school works in Sacramento County:

Traffic – General Information

Tickets issued must be received by the issuing law enforcement agency and entered into the court’s traffic system before you can pay for the ticket. Most tickets are not received at the court for up 30 days from the date of the ticket. Please allow at least 30 days from the date your ticket was issued for processing.

You must still appear at the court on or before the date listed at the bottom of your ticket if your ticket was issued within the last 90 days, and you are not able to find it by checking on the court’s website. Failure to do so can result in additional penalties and suspension of your driving privilege.

If you are experiencing problems when using the court’s system, please call (916) 875-7800 during normal business hours.

Eligibility

You may choose to attend Traffic Violator School for certain vehicle violations if you meet the following conditions:

-You must have a valid driver’s license at the time you received the ticket.

(For tickets received on or after January 1, 2013, a commercial license holder may be able to attend a traffic violator school for a ticket received in a personal vehicle, but only if there is no failure to appear and only for the purpose of counting negligent operation points. The point will not be counted as confidential for insurance purposes.)

-You must not have been driving a commercial vehicle.

-You must not have been speeding more than 25 miles over a speed limit.

-It has been 18 months since the last time you received a ticket and attended traffic school that you received credit for.

-Your ticket is for a moving violation that carries a DMV point, and does not have a commercial vehicle charge or misdemeanor and does not require a mandatory appearance in court.

-Your citation does not involve drugs or alcohol

-If your case involves a failure to appear warrant or additional fees, the failure to appear charge must be adjudicated and will need to be paid in full before you can attend a Traffic Violator School.

WARNING: If you attend traffic school but are not eligible, the conviction will still be reported on your driving record and you will not be refunded for any fees paid.

Payment and Fees

If you meet all of the conditions listed above and choose to attend a Traffic Violator School:

-You must pay the full amount of the ticket and any required proof of correction plus a $61 non-refundable administrative fee.

-There will be no monthly payments allowed. The payment must be made in full and received within 90 days of the court approving your request for traffic school. -You must also pay a fee to whichever school you choose to attend.

Failure to Complete

If you fail to pay the traffic school fine and any additional fees, this may result in an extra penalty added to your case and the full amount due forwarded to a collection agency. Once your case has reached collections, the court will no longer have jurisdiction and you will not be allowed to return to court to discuss your case.

If you fail to complete traffic school by your due date, this will result in a forfeiture of any monies paid, and a conviction will be reported on your driving record at the DMV. There will be no further proceedings in your case.
